CTS-5610 is a high performance half-inch tape subsystem, capable ofstoring 6GB of uncompressed data at an incredible 800KB per second. Anoptional 7 cartridge stacker increases the total capacity to 42GB. TheCTS-5610 is one of the most reliable tape technologies available today,with an uncorrectable bit error rate of 1 in 10 bits. Error detectionand correction facilities include a custom 64-bit CRC, Reed-Soloman ECC,end to end EDC, and parity checking on the data cache memory. The CTS-5610 ocmes with standard TTi display and emulation capabilities for plug-and-play compatibility.
